Welcome to Ysgol Bryn Teg PTFA!
The Ysgol Bryn Teg Parents, Teachers, and Friends Association (PTFA) Committee would like to extend a warm welcome to all new parents/carers to the school and welcome back existing members.
All parents, carers, guardians and staff are automatically members of Ysgol Bryn Teg PTFA and are welcome to attend meetings and get involved. We would love to see or hear from you!
What We Do:
- Fundraising & Support: We organise fun events and fundraising initiatives to provide resources, equipment, and experiences for our students, such as:
- Harvest Film Festival
- Design a Pumpkin Competition
- Christmas Performance Refreshments & Raffle
- Easter Disco & Raffle
- Sports Day Refreshments & Raffles
- Summer Fayre
- Art Exhibition (Quinn’s Quest)
- Community Building: Our events bring the school community together, creating a supportive network for parents, carers, and staff to connect and share ideas.
- We are passionate about supporting our school to enhance, enrich and improve learning experiences for the children. Over the last year we have contributed towards/purchased:
- Christmas Gifts for all students
- Sun Hats/ Caps for all students
- Subsidised Whole School Trip – Folly Farm
- Ice-cream Van

- Connect with Others: Meet and get to know other parents, carers, and teachers from across the school.
- Have Fun! Participate in engaging activities and events that build community spirit.
Ways you can help
We welcome help from everyone, no matter how small – Every little helps! There are lots of different ways you can help support your child through the PTFA. It doesn’t have to be on a regular basis, and you don’t necessarily need to come into school.
Ways you can get involved with the PTFA:
- Attend our meetings: All parents, carers, and staff are welcome to attend our meetings and share your ideas, whilst enjoying a cup of tea/coffee and a biscuit
- Share your ideas: Have a great fundraising or event idea? We'd love to hear it!
- Volunteer: Find out about upcoming events and volunteer opportunities
- At Events - Selling Raffle Tickets, manning the tuck shop at the Easter Disco, helping with refreshments at the Christmas Concert, manning a stall at the Summer Fayre
- Preparations for Events- help assembling treat bags, sourcing raffle prizes, picking up tuck shop goodies, gift wrapping
- Sustainable School Uniform Project – help pick & pack school uniform when a request comes through ready for collection
