We are a Nursery class, the age of the children in our class are 3-4 year olds.

Our topic this term 

This term our theme is  ‘Healthy Me’. We will be discussing How we can be healthy, What a healthy diet looks like and How we can keep our bodies healthy.  We will also be looking at the story ‘The Hungry Caterpillar’ and looking at what healthy foods he ate in the story. 

In Maths, we will be continuing to focus on our number skills by learning to reliably count to 10, we will also be looking at the number 1 in Ten Town with ‘King One’.

During our Talk for Writing sessions we will be looking at the story ‘Jasper's Beanstalk' and also reading lots of non-fiction stories during the day and singing lots of Nursery Rhymes.

We shall also be mark making using a variety of different tools e.g. paint brushes, pencils,

crayons chalks etc.

In JIGSAW lessons we will be looking at the topic ‘Celebrating Difference’. We will be looking at who I am and how do I fit- primarily looking at our family and who we are in relation to our class members.
